Mag 7 Race Series

The Magnificent 7 will award the top finishers in the race series at the YMCA/Herald Times Spring Running Festival race.

You must be present to win or contact Jo Throckmorton (339-3524, jo@mag7raceseries.com) prior to 3-1-10. There is no minimum number of races necessary to be eligible.

Overall Magnificent 7 Champion Trophy: Goes to the overall Male & Female winning the Series Points Total.

Age Group Competition medals: Male & Female Runners only. Trophies will be awarded to age group winner (overall champions are not eligible for age group category).

The age group awards will be as listed to the right.

Top 3 OVERALL placement :
1st = 10 points
2nd = 8 points
3rd = 6 points

AGE GROUP placement:
1st = 5 points
2nd = 3 points
3rd = 1 point

The Magnificent 7 Race Series was established by Dr. Jerry Ruff in 1997 to promote participation in road races held in the 7 south-central Indiana counties of: Brown, Greene, Jackson, Lawrence, Monroe, Morgan, Owen. 2010 marks the 13th anniversary of the race series.
