The Magnificent 7 Race Series was established by Dr. Jerry Ruff in 1997 to promote participation in road races held in the 7 south-central Indiana counties of: Brown, Greene, Jackson, Lawrence, Monroe, Morgan, Owen. The Mag 7 is dedicated to providing promotional and marketing support through this website, printed materials and race day support services for local road and trail races of the series. The Mag 7 neither owns nor conducts the individual races of the series. Each race is autonomous and chooses to be affiliated with the Mag 7 for promotional and race day support services only. The Race Director of the individual event is ultimately responsible for the administration and management of that race.
