CLASSIFICATIONS

Age groups are based on age BEFORE December 31 of the race year, using the USATF rule concerning annual age group placement, "If an individual moves into a new age group due to their yearly birthday, they will be considered as in that age group for the entire year. (e.g. if an individual had turned 29 years old before Jan. 1 of previous year and thus turns 30 during the year of the race series, they will be considered in the 30-34 age group for the entire year.)
 
TIE-BREAKERS

Age group winner will be determined as follows: 1st - runner achieving most points in the fewest races. 2nd - runner winning the most in head-to-head competitions. 3rd - fastest time on a USATF certified course.

Who We Are:
The Magnificent 7 Race Series was established by Dr. Jerry Ruff in 1997 to promote participation in road races held in the 7 south-central Indiana counties of: Brown, Greene, Jackson, Lawrence, Monroe, Morgan, Owen. The Mag 7 is dedicated to providing promotional and marketing support through this website, printed materials and race day support services for local road and trail races of the series. The Mag 7 neither owns nor conducts the individual races of the series. Each race is autonomous and chooses to be affiliated with the Mag 7 for promotional and race day support services only. The Race Director of the individual event is ultimately responsible for the administration and management of that race. Contact the Race Director for any issues or concerns you may have with their race. Please contact us through this site for any questions concerning the race schedule, promotions, marketing and administration of the series.
