Gosport 5K Update |
Mid-Summer 5K Winners |
As a consolation for the unfortunate conditions of the Gosport Lazy Days 5K, the Mag 7 Race Series will be offering each and every person who participated in the Gosport Lazy Days 5K a FREE ENTRY into any remaining Mag 7 race in the 2010 series. Regrettably, participants of the race experienced the aftermath of a race director quitting the night before an event. While the Mag 7 is not officially responsible for the races in the series, we did everything possible to step in and ensure that this race happened, including timing it ourselves. It is our feeling that the unofficially timed results accurately reflect the placement order for Mag 7 points and all runners and walkers WILL receive their earned points for this series event. In addition, medals are now in hand and will be mailed to the age group winners. Special thanks to Brenda, and Cathy for making this event happen at the last minute, and thanks to all of the participants for your understanding and patience today. To register for your free race, please email jo@mag7raceseries.com directly noting the desired race.

Kelly Smith did another bang up job in putting on a terrific race to kick off the fall running season.
